My thoughts have finally clarified about this choice. First, born raised, and always lived in Greater Boston, and Irish on my mother's side. I grew up working class and comfortable (Thanks Pop the best father a man could have), but not everyone did. The images in the video aren't how I grew up, but they are familiar. The Thing for me about the DKM videos is they are the only music videos that have people who look like the people I grew up with. Yeah most tougher than my neighborhood, but they resonate. I'm luckier than most, and I'm grateful. Despite what people might think Boston is a hockey town much more than Baseball or Football, or even my beloved Celtics. Hockey is the only sport that has college tournament (the Beanpot),and it's the one sport which most families will sacrifice so their kid can play (including girls these days, girls high school hockey is a thing here).

Hey, thank you for liking it. You should really check out the rest of PJ Harvey's stuff. I've been a huge fan of hers since around her second album, and I was often surprised with some of the interesting or strange directions in which she pushed her music, and I remember thinking that it wasn't always the way I wanted her to go. But looking back at her full career now, I can really see what a genius she was every single step of the way! So many excellent albums! Anyhow, thank you for liking the song... lol.

😂😂😂 I thought the name of the band was the whores!

Now I see it’s a PJ Harvey song. 😂 I have TOTALLY heard of her, but never heard this song before.

Anyway - great song! She is def the real deal.

Oh geez, I'm sorry... lol.
My choice was 'The Whores Hustle and the Hustlers Whore'... but this entire album, from start to finish, is one of my all-time favourites.
