My thoughts have finally clarified about this choice. First, born raised, and always lived in Greater Boston, and Irish on my mother's side. I grew up working class and comfortable (Thanks Pop the best father a man could have), but not everyone did. The images in the video aren't how I grew up, but they are familiar. The Thing for me about the DKM videos is they are the only music videos that have people who look like the people I grew up with. Yeah most tougher than my neighborhood, but they resonate. I'm luckier than most, and I'm grateful. Despite what people might think Boston is a hockey town much more than Baseball or Football, or even my beloved Celtics. Hockey is the only sport that has college tournament (the Beanpot),and it's the one sport which most families will sacrifice so their kid can play (including girls these days, girls high school hockey is a thing here).
