If it would have been one of Asian or Caucasian persuasion it would have been plastered in every newspaper. The cartoon depicts what hamas stands for, sacrificing innocent people as human shields. The fact that an Arab man is responsible for senseless killings deserves to be exposed for what it is. The cartoon was exposing behavior not race.^

That's new. My understanding was that one of the major schisms in Israel was that Orthodox Jews historically pushed hard for war, but even harder for draft deferments for Orthdox Jews, which put them at odds with the general Israeli populace.
