Israel/Hamas PB Tribal Fight

You said the end of israel, not do I think it should end. I think it should’ve never been put where it is. An end to the for profit war machine.

I would have given them Bavaria or at least part of some other country that lost in WWII.

I guess the point is, though, that they made their own decision where to found a country. Didn't matter to them then that there already were people there. Doesn't matter to them now, either.

Ya. Uganda was on their list. The Balfour declaration was sent to lord rothschild. Signed. Took them a while but they got it done. Israel should’ve been put in Europe, that’s who created it. Your argument is sound. Cheers.

Well I think Jerusalem being there had something to do with it. Bavaria while beautiful, doesn't quite have the territorial history of occupancy and religious history.

There were already Jews living in Judea when the state of Israel was founded there in 1948. They took in other Jewish refuges from the Middle East when the nearby Arab counties expelled them.

I'll be honest, all this tells me is that you rely on your bias and you're fine with that.

Imo, be better.
Yes, yes I am. Do you really spend time double checking every single bit of data you come across? Did you wait until Fox confirmed J6 was happening before you bought it? I've never been to Ukraine or Israel. I have no way of confirming that we haven't always been at was to Oceania.

Freelancers aren't really held accountable to the same rules as media companies.

The reaction to this is overblown and I believe a deflection of BiBi away from criticism he's getting.

Israel Announces Take No Prisoners Approach to 'Journalists' Who Particpated in Hamas Attack

By Bonchie | 1:00 PM on November 09, 2023

Well, if these "photojournalists" thought they had immunity for participating in a terrorist attack, they thought wrong. According to Israeli UN representative and Knesset member Danny Danon, they will be added to the termination list.

Some are already crying foul over the decision, but what else should Israel be expected to do? You are not a journalist when you carry a grenade into a terror attack while not offering any warning to the thousands who are about to be killed, injured, and taken hostage. This is not a situation where someone was legitimately embedded during a war.

It's also obvious that these "photojournalists" tried to help cover up the atrocities committed. They just so happened to get zero pictures of civilians being killed despite being on the scene as the murderers were happening. Does anyone believe that wasn't purposeful?

Actual journalism does not exist in Gaza. Hamas controls the flow of information, and those who actively assist them are not journalists. They are terrorists. These "photojournalists" should have thought twice before placing their lives in the hands of a terrorist government.

Historically it was theirs before Palestinians moved in, and it wasn't an actually country at the time, so it made sense.

They fought a war to decide it was theirs and won handily. Not saying that's the best approach, Israel is there and has a right to be there. Palestinians deserve to exist with some authority there as well.

I support a two state solution.

Bullshit.

Yes, I do...unless I'm witnessing it firsthand, I look for confirmation from multiple sources.

You don't need to confirm it first hand...that's why corroboration is key.....two independent sources saying the same thing is typically a confirmation of fact. Obviously in a time of war, that can be tricky.

You must have an unbelievable amount of free time.

You must have an unbelievable amount of free time.
Patience and fortitude.

Mostly, if I can't confirm a source, I'll mention that. If I can I don't.

But during war, most everything is unconfirmed for up to a week. You do start to notice trends though.....like casualties being overestimated initially....faults being incorrectly assigned...etc. Bias makes this worse. When people post with certainty, they are typically wrong.

Cowardly WAPO deletes a cartoon accurately depicting HAMAS for what they truly are. The truth is now racist. What a gaggle of despicable cowards.

Spot on!! The truth hurts.

ineedhelp1 can’t seem to comprehend the reason the cartoon was pulled.

The stereotypical depiction of the Arab man "Hamas leader" was the primary and legitimate reason the cartoon was pulled.

Hope that ^ helps.

If it would have been one of Asian or Caucasian persuasion it would have been plastered in every newspaper. The cartoon depicts what hamas stands for, sacrificing innocent people as human shields. The fact that an Arab man is responsible for senseless killings deserves to be exposed for what it is. The cartoon was exposing behavior not race.

Actually, after the October 7th attack, orthodox Jews started signing up to serve to defend Israel against Hamas.
That's new. My understanding was that one of the major schisms in Israel was that Orthodox Jews historically pushed hard for war, but even harder for draft deferments for Orthdox Jews, which put them at odds with the general Israeli populace.
