Most sources of information are not credible with breaking news on the war. Twitter can be credible depending on the user being quoted.

All sources should be corroborated and I'd expect any reasonable and logical person to seek out as many perspectives as possible rather than drown in their biased pool.....but to each their own.

While no sources are 100% credible for a lot of reasons. Maybe the information just isn't available and you have to spitball something. Like how many people died in any given disaster. Some of those people are dead. Some are at Disney World on radio silence. Sometimes its personal bias. Sometimes its outright lies.


I don't trust Twitter as a news source at all. It I want a look inside what Biden or Boebert of The Rock is thinking at any given moment I can get that there. Its their direct words. But for new stuff I require something a little more concrete. I don't always double check things, mostly cus I have a pretty good idea (though not flawless) about knowing what is true and what isn't. I remember back in I think 2015 when all the news outlets were claiming that ACORN was helping a pimp set up a whorehouse and I immediately called bullshit. How did The Associated Press, Reuters, The New York Times, and CNN obtain their photos of Hamas terrorists carrying out their horrific attack on Israel on Oct. 7? What does it reveal about the Gazan “civilians” that Hamas uses as human shields as Israel responded with military force?

On Wednesday, a media watchdog called HonestReporting published an article asking how these U.S. news outlets got their photos and suggesting that the outlets had embedded photojournalists inside Hamas as the terrorist group slaughtered at least 1,400 civilians in Israel. A former freelance journalist for AP, Hassan Eslaiah, appears in a photo with the leader of the Hamas massacre, Yahya Sinwar.

Israel demanded answers. Nitzan Chen, director of the Israeli Government Press Office, demanded explanations from each of the four major news outlets. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office released a statement saying that it “views with utmost gravity that photojournalists working with international media joined in covering the brutal acts of murder perpetrated by Hamas terrorists.”

“These journalists were accomplices in crimes against humanity; their actions were contrary to professional ethics,” Netanyahu’s office added.
