Israel/Hamas PB Tribal Fight

thanks to the tireless work of the Biden administration, a daily 4-hour cease fire has been brokered to allow fleeing civilians in Gaza a 'safe space' in which to move without getting bombed, to be announced 3 hours before each pause; this was agreed upon during a phone call between President Biden and Netanyahu on Monday, to commence today. President Biden says he asked for 3+ days pause but that wasn't somewhere Netanyahu was prepared to go.

A second 'safe' corridor has also been agreed upon to aid the movement of civilians.

of course it's not enough, but it's something and can be worked on.
Biden!! 😂

Israel's internal security agency announced that they will eliminate all participants of the October 7 massacre.

The "photojournalists" who took part in recording the assault will be added to that list.

GOOD
Not good at all.

Netanyahu is deflecting from his failure to keep Israel secure. He deserves to be replaced.

Neither Hamas nor Israel “support endless war.” That’s us! America! World’s Leading Exporter of Weapons!

But Hamas and Israel do share the same goal. They both want the land the other is sitting on… and they both want to wipe out the other side.

Hamas has always been more willing to say so, but Israeli government officials have been pretty plain about it since Oct 7.
Both Palestinians and Israelis should pursue and deserve peace and safety.

Hamas as an entity should be ended.

U.S. Inching Towards World War III While Biden Administration Hides U.S. Casualties

By Larry Johnson Nov. 9, 2023 7:00 am

While the world’s attention is focused on the war raging between Israel and Hamas, the military confrontation between the United States and Hezbollah is heating up. Since the Hamas attacks on 7 October and the subsequent retaliation by Israel, U.S. military bases and outposts in Syria and Iraq are facing daily attacks with rocket, missiles and mortars. I learned today from someone who regularly visits Walter Reed Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland that the wards are filling up with U.S. military personnel wounded in recent attacks on those bases.

The White House and the Department of Defense are working actively to suppress this information, apparently out of fear that the American public will recoil at news of the losses and step up pressure for the United States to get out of Iraq and Syria.

Hezbollah leader Nasrallah was very clear in his sermon a week ago (Friday) that if the United States attacks Hezbollah in Lebanon and Syria that Hezbollah will retaliate. The New York Post just reported that U.S. combat aircraft hit an Iranian weapons storage base in Syria.

This was not a strategic blow to Iran and Hezbollah. It is a tit-for-tat strike that is certain to inspire Iran and Hezbollah to escalate attacks on U.S. bases in Syria and Iraq and to conduct more strikes on Israeli positions in northern Israel. The combat between the United States and Hezbollah is escalating and there is no sign that either side is prepared to backdown. Nasrallah is set to give a new sermon on Saturday and is expected to address the recent attacks on Hezbollah and civilians in Lebanon.

Dup. Delete.

A four hour cease fire is way too much! Don't you know Hamas given 3.5 hours will have developed nukes!

I honestly don't care and neither should you.

That's being willfully ignorant..
No its not being pissed about shit that doesn't matter. We see this all the time and this is a rare case of both sides do it and I'm not even sure one side is more guilty than the other. I suspect the Right is more to blame but I can't back that one up with facts at all.

Every year or so we hear about how many college kids, usually on Spring Break and half drunk, half trolling don't know what the 1st amendment is. You could be forgiven for only knowing 1,2, and 5 since the other 7 are not brought up on a regular basis. But some of those kids are drunk and some are just trolling. The same as the people who think hotdogs are a vegetable. They aren't stupid they are fucking with you.

Either way if you interview say 30 people, just thirty you're gonna find someone who doesn't have a solid understanding of any given subject largely because it doesn't apply to them. I'm reminded of when Russia annexed Georgia. America, myself included, took a moment to realize there was some place in Eurasia called Georgia and the Russians hadn't pulled a full on Red Dawn we basically rolled back over and went back to whatever we were doing.

Updates: (from https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/live-blog/israel-hamas-war-live-updates-rcna124563) As always, reports are not always accurate. I welcome other updates from other sites as much as possible. Please be more skeptical of state run news from Israel and Hamas.
  • Israeli troops fighting Hamas pushed deeper into Gaza City, with local health officials and residents reporting intense bombardment and the presence of military vehicles in the vicinity of a number of hospitals.
  • Palestinian health officials said numerous people were wounded when a munition struck the courtyard of Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza City, the enclave's largest hospital where thousands of people are sheltering.
  • President Joe Biden welcomed a "step in the right direction" after Israel agreed to maintain daily four-hour pauses in its fighting in parts of northern Gaza. For days, tens of thousands of Palestinian civilians have fled the area through a designated safe route, but the U.S. says "more needs to be done" to protect them.
  • Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said his country does not seek to "govern" or "occupy" Gaza after its war with Hamas, after earlier comments raised concerns about his post-war plans.
  • More than 1.6 million people have been displaced in Gaza, and health officials there say more than 10,800 have been killed. Israel says 1,400 people were killed in the Hamas terrorist attack Oct. 7, with 239 people still held hostage in Gaza.
  • NBC News’ Keir Simmons, Raf Sanchez, Erin McLaughlin, Josh Lederman, Matt Bradley, Hala Gorani, Jay Gray and Chantal Da Silva are reporting from the region.
