Plan A is to grab all the seeds I can, some chickens and a rooster (keep cooped and observe a few days for any signs of zombie chicken mutations), commandeer a helicopter to an unaffected naval carrier ship and start a floating farm.

Sooooooo jealous. My in-law's house is out in the country and would be my choice for that reason. Clear lines of site, landmarks I can range reliably, etc..

On the plus side, even if it's not all open land, the wooded areas are a great food source. I love me some venison, squirrel, rabbit...

Again, depends on whether this particular zombie apocalypse includes animal mutations, but those could potentially be beneficial. Also, are there any streams, rivers, lakes or cavernous cenotes? Water sources are a must!
