FWIW, a Democratic strategist on CNN just agreed with me.

Jordan as the face of Republicans in the House would give Dems a big advantage in 2024.

But what Democrats fail to recognize...or accept...is it is a small percentage of Americans that care about his past behavior.

I am still hearing the same thing...Jordan does not have the votes to win first ballot. If he doesn't win the second...McCarthy will be re-nominated...assuming he accepts it. If I was him...i would if the Rules are changed to prevent this from occurring again. This is the best path forward for the country given the existing political nature. It is up to the Moderate Republicans...get rid of Trump the best they can...or cave to Trump.

Next Fall Republican political ads:

The Democrats joined forces with 8 traitors plunging the House of Representatives into chaos ...betraying our allies when they most needed us. They did this without a plan simply to score what they perceived as a political victory. How a person votes...matters...and should be thought through looking at the consequences of that vote. This election...all we ask...is to ask yourself...would you vote with traitors to score points?

And that is why we will lose. The Democratic Party has lost itself. Policy based on scoring points and not results. They are in denial.

I have told you to go to any small town...anywhere in any state...you choose. Go to the diner open for breakfast. Sit. Listen.

Sorry you don't like how government works. Democrats nominated and voted for Jeffries, the only choice who has promised to work for Democrats (and even work across the aisle to do so)

Republicans are the majority....if they vote Jordan, it's their grave in 2024.
