The real clown show would / will begin if / when Gym Jordan wins the gavel.
There’s still the little matter of drafting and passing legislation; something Gym Jordan has never done and clearly has no interest in / intentions of doing.
Does anybody here believe Gym Jordan is going to draft and pass legislation that is less radical and extreme than former Weaker McCarthy’s already radical and extreme legislation that had zero chance of becoming law???
The clown show will go on, but every clown in that picture will also be on fire and beating each other in the head with Gallagher mallets.

He has never had legislation passed. In 17 full years of office. Amazing that he could be considered as speaker.

I don't know, I think he has certainly shown that there is no tangible evidence, which is moving the bar. Just not in the direction he wanted the bar to go.

Silly boy people don't go to congress to pass legislation. That's the job of think tanks and lobbyists. He's there to make an ass out of himself. So it's only natural an asshole like Jordan is going to be speaker.

Getting Jim Jordan as Speaker would be almost as good as getting Boebert or MTG. It would completely open the kimono on how dysfunctional the Republican party really is.
FWIW, a Democratic strategist on CNN just agreed with me.
Jordan as the face of Republicans in the House would give Dems a big advantage in 2024.

But what Democrats fail to recognize...or accept...is it is a small percentage of Americans that care about his past behavior.
I am still hearing the same thing...Jordan does not have the votes to win first ballot. If he doesn't win the second...McCarthy will be re-nominated...assuming he accepts it. If I was him...i would if the Rules are changed to prevent this from occurring again. This is the best path forward for the country given the existing political nature. It is up to the Moderate Republicans...get rid of Trump the best they can...or cave to Trump.
Next Fall Republican political ads:
The Democrats joined forces with 8 traitors plunging the House of Representatives into chaos ...betraying our allies when they most needed us. They did this without a plan simply to score what they perceived as a political victory. How a person votes...matters...and should be thought through looking at the consequences of that vote. This election...all we ask...is to ask yourself...would you vote with traitors to score points?
