For some reason I had a tendency to see all the part 2’s before the originals—whatever was playing on HBO that I wasn’t allowed to see, but got a chance to.

Halloween II (1981) was the first real horror movie I saw and Michael Myers scared the shit out of me through my entire childhood. I then went on to watch the rest of the Halloweens, Freddys and Jasons (for the nudity) and they all scared me, but nothing scared me as much as Michael Myers.

Halloween 1981, parents out, eldest sister babysitting us all. (Brother 2, me 7, older sister 9 eldest 13)
