Ignore works, not sure what policy he violated though other than just completely missing the tone of the thread. Only folks I’ve ever reported are people who have issued threats or are racist/homophobic etc.

I reported for spamming the same 'story' on a dozen threads.

But you are probably right, I doubt there's a written rule against that.
