Almost verbatim the disclaimer I give when exchanging pictures on here comes up, haha. I won't ask for them, but will gladly accept them. Even if I have an established relationship, I generally won't ask. In that case, there's just kind of an open "you know I'd love to see it" understanding, but I still don't want anyone to feel remotely pressured.

Now, when it comes to dick pics (or ball pics, since that's what started the discussion, haha), I 100% will not send any unless directly asked. Main reason being, I'm pretty sure y'all get enough of them unsolicited and I absolutely do not want to be that guy.

I have had this happen once or twice, where they felt comfortable sharing. I simply wasn't in return. I kindly said, sorry I don't do that in return. Isn't easy to communicate but wayyy more uncomfortable if I don't speak up.

I've had that before. Some people I chat to are total exhibitionists and gladly whip their kit off at a moments notice. If its someone I know fairly well and I don't want to reciprocate then I'm usually pretty comfortable in saying so and they've all respected my limits. Saying that, if they hadn't then chatting would stop.
