Sex & Shenanigans

I've only been here for 3...lol

I did the bathroom vanity/sink last summer. Next will be the kitchen counters ... OR flooring. Not sure which.
We haven't done much inside as far as actual visible stuff. Had the floors sanded and resealed (almost 100 year old hardwood, they're beautiful). Carpeted all the stairs and the upstairs, replaced furnace/AC and water heater. Big projects were replacing most of the window's, and also had all the soffit and eves redone and clad in aluminum. That second one cost an arm and a leg, but looks amazing and made maintenance alot less intense.

Yeah, I sanded and stained 1 room 3 years ago due to the carpet glue... Need to have the whole house done. But i have too much furniture and haven't pulled the trigger yet.

We replaced our dishwasher and stove last year and love them. It's nice to have working appliances that aren't 30 years old. The rest of the kitchen sucks but I stripped the wallpaper and painted so it's not too bad... for now...

Ya, we did the floors when we bought the house before we moved in. That was such a good decision. We were going to stain but our guy talked us out of it. He said, "I'd love the extra money for staining, but I don't want to do that to these floors. They'll amber when I seal them and you'll love it. Trust me." He was 100% right.

If Sears had these for commercials they'd still be in business.
Ya know ... It's too bad that commercials never fully realized the potential of cross-advertising

Like have a VS model bring some lemonade out to an Abercrombie model mowing the yard and then say something nice about the mower...her lingerie, and his outfit.... Get it all in at once.

It could make for some hilarious combinations of products if done correctly

Now that is a great idea. Can you imagine the round table discussions creating this :ROFLMAO:

Would only work if they all had the same agency.

Yeah... Sometimes you can tell which companies use the same agencies.

Or if 2 agencies and the companies came to some sort of agreement. But I've heard thats a pretty aggressive industry.
