So…it hurt. Like bad. There are so many nerve endings that are getting sliced through and full recovery is about a year. I have to be honest because my relationship to pain isn’t very binary; I enjoyed it. I only say that because it helped me with the process of getting them done. I wasn’t focusing on the pain in a negative sense. Now for folks who don’t have that same inclination; it’s damn painful. There’s no getting around it.
