Lmao...I have a dog? And I sleep 4-5 hours a night virtually every night work or not.

Most of my teens and 20s were spent working weekends, and school or work weekdays. I guess I just never built the habit of seeing the weekends differently.
 
I like Fridays cos I don't have to set an alarm.
Tell myself every week I'll get some extra sleep and the child won't bounce out of bed at the usual time like Tigger on a sugar rush and every Sat morning I sit bleary eyed injecting coffee into my veins while he empties every thought from his head at super speed.
Basically I like the idea of a weekend but I rarely get the benefits of one

Yeah, I've just never been in that kind of situation.

I read or hear of folks' plans for Friday night and my main thought is... "Why not do that on other nights?"...

Again, no kids or SO, so I get 7 or 8 hours of free time every night after work.

In the meantime, I just got a call from my po-dunk provider that we can upgrade our internet service next month from 20/MB to 100/MB and I tried kissing the woman through the phone.

It is, but it's also awful and cause for a freak out. Happened to me the other day after a big thunderstorm came through and knocked internet out for a little while

Ugh!!! That is no fun 😳
Weirdly.. I "only" have a 100/MB connection in the city apartment (in the middle of the capital)
But, in our forests house.. a 1000/MB... So far from anywhere, that even the crows have returned to where they came from.

Sometimes, it just does not make sense (or, actually.. it does, whether or not I agree with the reasoning and outcome, that is something completely different.).
