I’ve always wanted to go to Utqiavik in Alaska, my mom was there in college as a nursing student in the winter. I cant imagine the cold and dark. I’d want to go experience the midnight sun and do the toe dipping as well. I think you have to fly there, Canada is awesome for building a road to nowhere.

I do a 27ish hour solo drive 3 or 4 times a year. It's fun but tiring. I love getting out and seeing different parts of the country.

I've taken so many road trips that I don't even pack snacks anymore except coffee and water. I just buy a little something at each gas stop.

Road trip snacks:
Chex-mix (whatever your favorite brand or homemade)
Beef jerky
Coffee
Water
Gatorade

So, perhaps obviously, my dreams like this usually involve sailboats.
I'd like to do a round the world race. Or at least a few legs of it. I'd really like to try the Southern Ocean leg of the old "Whitbred" course: Auckland to Punta Del Este.

Another one of mine is to just take off in a nicely appointed cruiser and see the world. Usually that one is "alone" but....lately, maybe not.
