I thinks it's a fair generalization, even if I resemble it, haha. I was once told by @MedicalMuse I believe it was that the Midwest is the Canada of the US. Very polite, friendly, salt of the earth people in general but that can lead to being a bit passive at times too.

I have a tendency to be a bit too diplomatic in how I put things, but I think that also comes from the whole middle child thing too.

Same... I am very much a drama-avoider. I just don't have the time or energy to argue with someone.

But I was raised in a family retail business in a very small town. Everyone knew everyone and there were only 3-4 unique bloodlines. So you had to be very careful not to piss off the wrong family or there goes 25% of the customers. And being I worked there every day starting around 11-12, I know that's developed my tendency to avoid conflict.
