Communication, honesty (internal and external), and understanding... Are probably the 3 biggest traits I've recognized and the ones i constantly try to work.

And yes learning never stops... And know that you and they will likely change and shift as time goes on.

I’ll admit I am a bit old school, romantic, somewhat gentleman. Though I’ve a bit of a rougher side.
Having a lady calling herself a derogatory name doesn’t do anything for me. Now seeing her reaction to being called a derogatory name. Hell yea. Seeing her reaction to being called My bitch/ slut. Way mo better.

Oh I think it is a really great conversation both on the topic and a whole theme. I would be willing to bet many are unaware of the movements around the word. It wasn't about them. Generally speaking, I think once a word is now representative of a movement of a specific group of people, if you are not of those people, you don't get an opinion on how they use it. The clearest representation is the N word. I don't get an opinion on how black culture uses the word. It wasn't used against me and it isn't my slang. I find, in general, if I hear a word that I knew as an insult now being used by someone representative as a positive, and it isn't about me, default to them because it isn't about me, and is probably a social movement. 🤣 Women took back bitch and cunt too. Just hush and default to us. The LBGTQ+ movements are taking back words right and left. Like I'd swear Queer was a serious insult when I was a young child and look at it now. What I know is it wasn't used towards me as a negative, not used towards me as a positive, so I don't get an opinion, because it isn't about me. If you say you are queer, you are positive about it, you are and that is it. I have no clue what all words that may entail, I'll learn when I see it.
