I would never do anything NSFW on a Facebook platform, I don’t trust that company at all.

OH...hunh, I do some things. But mostly FB is for stupid stuff and keeping up with old friends for me.
Also my definition of NSFW might be different than yours, I'm kind of known for both swearing and saying some pretty off color things at work, but I'm lovable so they put up with it....

all my coworkers and bosses are my facebook friends. They seem ok with my wine and sexy fireman memes though. That is as far as I take it. just over the nsfw line, but not crazy over.

same here.... my office is very non-PC and atypical work discussions. We of course tone it down when customers or vendors are there.

Most of them don't have FB, but we do have a FB work group where we can organize social events and share pictures of said events. It's a lot of fun. We also share memes about work, and we have a "not work related" Teams channel for sharing funny memes, typically work related. We really enjoy memes about shitting on the safety guy

oh, certainly they do... We had a NASA engineering lead hang out with us for a few weeks in January.... about 3pm on the first day he was cursing and talking shit about his work too!!! LMAO

What do you use them for

Most are just casual conversations. Others are just questions/inquires about a post of mine or the other persons. 2/25 messages have take a naughty turn.

Do you message first?

Not really. 5/25 messages I started first. Most we're welcome to Lit messages. I think it's nice when people are new to get one like how I did when I first joined

Is there any sort of implication to sending or responding to PM’s?

No. No one is obligated to read or respond and sending a pm is on your own volition. If you think of it just like a post which sometimes I do. It's basically a read and done, a reaction or maybe a reply. I do try to reply if I have something to say.

Do you have lots or a few folks you talk to regularly in PM’s or do you move to a different platform(skype or something like that)?

3 people sent me 2 messages with different topics so 21 different people out of 25 messages. Haven't taken anything off Lit. I had 2 people I chatted with quite regularly but, ironically both haven't really been around as of last month. Sooooooo no regular chatting as of late
