If i could step outside without an asthma attack there is a bbq place 5 minutes from my house that has amazing brisket. When I think about Nashville I think about BBQ and now I want brisket
Oh yes … yes it wasYou haven’t found it?? I’ve not posted that much today. I promise it’s not hard to find. I don’t know if it is worth a treasure title though lol
It most certainly is!You haven’t found it?? I’ve not posted that much today. I promise it’s not hard to find. I don’t know if it is worth a treasure title though lol
Or I deleted it and only CCG knows
It most certainly is!![]()
You are way too kind.Oh yes … yes it was
No question. And the museums are free! Hear that Europe?I love DC. Not sure what other folks think but it’s a great city with tons to do.
Are you a rocket scientist? That sounds like a NASA visit.I spent a few weeks in Greenbelt working in March. A lot of people but it was OK. I rode the train into DC and walked around for 6 or 8 hours on a Sunday. It was cool. I'd like to go back.
There's a back alley behind Tootie's and a side exit from the Opry where the musicians would slip out between sets to get a drink. I was back there one afternoon telling that story to my wife. On cue, the door opened and Jason Isbel stepped out for a smoke.Nashville is pretty cool.
You should plan on at least an afternoon in the Country Music Hall of Fame. I did it - and I'm DECIDEDLY not a country fan - and thought it was awesome.
Given that you like country music, you will love it.
I mean, that is how I ended up married...
Another city that doesn't get the love it deserves.History? Hmm you should add Philadelphia in there.
Did someone say Bush? Did I miss that too?Well maybe focusing on the bird in the hand versus the two in the bush while in DC is the best plan then![]()
Which is odd bc it has love park and is known as the city of brotherly love.Another city that doesn't get the love it deserves.
Sorta... Engineer turned Project Manager... I make the things that make rockets. I was in a cleanroom there building an assembly, integration, and testing platformAre you a rocket scientist? That sounds like a NASA visit.
Youre going to have a hard time seeing all the boobs if you cant find them after all those hints.
Every city is different but DC metro (with a few exceptions) is as safe as it gets (Atlanta might be the only big system that comes close and its not as big).I too love DC.
@Bbl87 : Metro is pretty safe there (although as @Mr_bogey says, you should always be aware of your surroundings, etc).
The coolest part is that the Smithsonian is completely free. (although some you do have to get "tickets" based on time I think, been a while, maybe maybe not).
I can loose a whole day wandering the Smithsonian.
The "spy" museum (not Smithsonian, not free) is cool too.
The Holocaust Museum (free but timed entry) is excellent, but if you're not a happy person, maybe not a good place.
Adams Morgan and DuPont Circle, great places to eat. I lived right between them once upon a time.
Chinatown is good, but not as good as San Fran by any measure.
It's not about all the boobs. It's about specific, boutique level boobs.Youre going to have a hard time seeing all the boobs if you cant find them after all those hints.
Oh man, so close! I won’t stalk you. But I’ll be waiting to hear what you think. We may have to fly out to DC this summer. I'm both interested and also dreading it. I'm too much of a country boy, haha.
is it all about the size for the boobs like it is for dicks? It's not about all the boobs. It's about specific, boutique level boobs.
I think I need to plan a girls trip with of the females on lit after reading this.I like DC and Philly both. Boston is also good for history. Savannah is an all time fave. Charlottesville Va is another great place. I also really like NYC but for other reasons. Asheville NC. So many fun places within a few hours of where I am.
Same, I really dislike cities and groups of people. But i like people watching and history. We may have to fly out to DC this summer. I'm both interested and also dreading it. I'm too much of a country boy, haha.
Love Charlottesville. Just back from Savannah (well, Kiawah Island). Let me know when you're next in Asheville.I like DC and Philly both. Boston is also good for history. Savannah is an all time fave. Charlottesville Va is another great place. I also really like NYC but for other reasons. Asheville NC. So many fun places within a few hours of where I am.
