A request to my fellow AH denizens (stop thread hijacking)

I think if we can get rid of that trouble-maker @EmilyMiller then we’ll be fine. She’s always on here talking about stuff, generating interesting talking points and randomly quoting CASABLANCA.

I, of course, have no idea why?

🙄🙄🙄
I just assumed (like every else) that you and she are just each other's alter-egos.

So you probably know EXACTLY why, don't you!?!? 😂

Maybe we need an Official Random Conversation Thread where we can all just randomly chit chat about whatever random stuff pops into our heads randomly.

Seriously though, I understand your point.

But this is the internet. It's been around awhile now.

And like it or not, it's generally how it works lol.
I read the STAY ON TARGET bit and instantly remembered BLUE HARVEST.

😂😆🤣

Well, she does start her own threads as needed, which is fine. She was one of the people I apologized to, although she hadn't made a specific complaint. I did think my discussion of Carl Jung was a bit much, although I don't remember the thread title now.

He went with our suggestions and grouped his story for publication. It was approved. He made certain to complain about the need to do so... the last I checked on it, it was well received by his fanbase.

The grouped collective of work was only five Lit pages long.
Is that how it was finally resolved? I lost track. He did say that he had already posted on another site that would take his stuff. I think I responded, "You just solved your own problem."

Yes, his author bio was edited, continuing to gripe about another similar style of story that was rejected on the basis of the NC/R guidelines in place. Evidently, the entire thread was just him venting. I don't think he ever meant to leave, he has other publishing options... he just wanted to complain. He's been around for years, he knows what it is. People are so fickle...

"People Are So Fickle" a loving BDSM story about a woman who can't decide if she prefers to be Dom or sub.

Of course, you must do what you feel is best. But I do have a counter argument that could possibly sway you...

♥️💕♥️PRETTY PRETTY PLEASE!!! I'LL BE YOUR BEST FRIEND AND LOVE YOU FOREVER!!! I'LL WRITE A FILTHY STORY FOR YOU, WHERE ALL OF YOUR NASTY DREAMS COME TRUE!!! ♥️💕♥️

Perhaps that counter argument could dissuade you from hijacking threads in the future?
Really???? Bribery??? And you think I'll just roll over and take your bribe??? One thing I've learned from politics is this: while mouthing platitudes, deftly verbally stroking those who will listen, put your hand behind your back and let those who want something fill it with an incentive to me for what they want. So publicly HELL NO! (send it to my email best buddy)

Comshaw

how the flip did you get to taking about Jung?

😂🤣😆

five pages? That was it?

I sneeze bigger narratives than that.

This thread reminds me of how Han Solo and Princess Leia bickered so much, in star wars. (@Kumquatqueen)
No it doesn't. You're just trying to invoke Kumquat's Law on purpose. Which doesn't count. So ner. 😋

(Tbf, I was expecting it to get invoked on the first page, so actually this thread has stayed more on-topic than many...)

I had it ready for post number 8, but I said no, let me not derail the thread.

When I blinked and it was three pages long, I realized that’s what I get for not following “Try not. Do”

And I don’t believe kumquats law has any restrictions!

Complaining might just be a little hypocritical of me, don’t you think 🤭?
