For most of us, spring is upon us, and the lazy warm days of summer are beckoning. I figured why not start a thread asking what your 3 goals are this summer. Here are mine:

I want to:

1) Spend more time with my son
2) Lose 15 lbs, and
3) Meet positive people and learn from them

Mine may seem very vanilla. Maybe yours aren’t. I’d love to hear them anyway :)

1 - lose more weight
2- spend a lot of time outdoors (I likt that 1k hours thing noted above)
3- maybe find a special friend

I’d love it if you all can come back and tell me how many of those goals accomplished this summer!
Or maybe even encourage each other in making those goals happen THRU the summer? Tell us along the way how's your doing or what is in the way that you have to overcome?

For me, I have to think about this some more - not really sure, but I think it's maybe a good thing to have. So thanks for posting and getting us thinking about the topic

Play with my dog more
Write another novel
Build cobblestone patio and fire pit
Lose 20 pounds
Threesome with Lucy Lawless and Mia Kirshner

I’ll start. I’m down 16 lbs. I would like to drop 25 more to be in college shape but that’s going to take a while :)
Okay, that's kinda scary, to be your age and only have to drop 25 to be the same as in college. You must be in terrific shape already. I'd have to drop 80 lbs to get down to what I was in college, but I don't think I'd ever want to be that size again.
.
Now for me, would I like to lose the 40-50 lbs I'd need to, to get back to being relatively slim again? Sure. But I think I'll take the medication weight, so that I can move better. And if that's the cost of not being in pain, so be it.
.
I have to say I have NEVER been at all successful at losing weight because I wanted to. It's always been with help or for some other reason. So I applaud you that you are down 16 lbs and are well on your way to your goal.
.
And I had to look up your quote - and I had someone recommend the movie to me this week. So now I know who I can talk to about it when I finish. How about that?

I love that movie. It’s like my life talking back at me. I can talk about that movie for hours!

Lose 15 lbs if you think you should but I think your body looks very nice

This is a great thread.

1. Have as much fun as possible!
2. Keep my garden looking nice and weed free.
3. Swim as often as possible.
