Summer goals

For most of us, spring is upon us, and the lazy warm days of summer are beckoning. I figured why not start a thread asking what your 3 goals are this summer. Here are mine:

I want to:

1) Spend more time with my son
2) Lose 15 lbs, and
3) Meet positive people and learn from them

Mine may seem very vanilla. Maybe yours aren’t. I’d love to hear them anyway :)
Not to die of heat exhaustion. The older I get, the more the heat takes a toll on me physically. Especially when it's over 100F every day. Even at 10pm at night, it's still close to 100F.
 
This goal-setting thread reminds me of a webpage that was all about setting goals. It was called 43 Things. Does anyone remember it? It was all about setting goals, prioritizing them and finding others with similar goals and sharing success stories. It’s no longer around. Maybe it’s redundant with so much social media and apps now. But I still miss it.

Things I’d like to see happen this Summer:
1) Read some every day. Read a book a month. (This may seem like not that much but I’d got away from reading)
2) Try to eat healthier (I’ve recently got a Blendjet and am loving the ease and portability of it and on a real smoothie kick right now)
3) Get to a healthier weight/BMI
4) Stay hydrated.
 
Play with my dog more
Write another novel
Build cobblestone patio and fire pit
Lose 20 pounds

Kudos 👏 on writing a novel! And that’s awesome that you’ve got a goal for another.
