To echo IL74, it was worth at most a censure or sanction. Republicans used the opportunity to remove them. That was a blatant power grab, once again putting their party above everything else. Including children.

The reality is that kids are dying and gun violence is out of control. Something has to wake people up.

The reality is the city governments that these 2 expelled representatives are from will reappoint them next week and they will be back on the job. So at best it was symbolic to remove them.

Let's be clear here, I never said I supported expulsion. I agreed with some form of sanction.
