Lmao...this is great. Many members only post for the dopamine hit they receive when they get a reply.
Going back at least two billion years there have been about 5 ice ages. Changing weather patterns are a fact of life that you or anyone else can't do a damn thing about, except create a new Church of Climate Change with an international ecumenical council of billionaires to run it.Insurance companies believe in climate change.

“Meanwhile, new data from the CSIRO’s once-in-a-decade megatrends report reveals that the cost of natural disasters is expected to triple over the next 30 years as climate change worsens.”

Extreme Weather and Rising Insurance Rates Squeeze Retirees
“I can definitely say that for my Florida clients, it’s a topic of conversation and it’s on their radar,” said Mr. Diton, president of the Wealth Alliance, an investment advisory firm. “They’re seeing that their cost of insurance is rising.”
“In some regions, we already see changing weather patterns, most likely driven by climate change, already having an impact,” said Ernst Rauch, chief climate and geoscientist at the reinsurance company Munich Re.
Yes, everyone knows you deny climate change science.Going back at least two billion years there have been about 5 ice ages. Yeah and they hold no pattern whatsoever and what we have now is brand new. Weather patterns generally are gradual not this bullshit.Going back at least two billion years there have been about 5 ice ages. I'm in the camp that says, there is no "climate change" that is out of the ordinary in the Earth's historical cycle. You want to believe the world is going to end in the next few years because of something man is doing to the Earth, which is infantile in the extreme. The left, leveraging this nonsense for the last 50 years in order to establish a centralized international governing authority to oversee every aspect of our lives, has presented nothing but one embarrassing failure of alleged scientific forecast after another. All of which can be easily described as nothing more than a voluminous chronicle of soothsaying predictions of doom:https://i-download.imgflip.com/7f8554.gif
You might not personally believe that profit is what motivates government's and industry's denial of the dangers of fossil fuels. I get that.
But by pretending to not even be aware that the primary argument against doing anything about it is "it's bad for profits", you have got to be just playing dumb.
Unless you're in the Tim Walberg camp, who say we shouldn't do anything about climate change because for one thing it's God's will and for another thing if it becomes a problem He'll take care of it.
This would explain the complete disconnection from the rest of the conversation - both sides of it.
And a few more:https://i-download.imgflip.com/7f8554.gif

Oh and you ask how a top ten for over a century is unusual. Did you think that out?
Yes, and you're incorrect.I'm in the camp that says, there is no "climate change" that is out of the ordinary in the Earth's historical cycle.
Prove it.Yes, and you're incorrect.
Lol ...sure SparkyProve it.
Did you have your MAGA hat on when you wrote that?I think this thread is illustrative of the empirical need for the Left to wrap their dreams of a return to some imaginary idyllic state where life was harmonious and the world was pristine and clean that they would use an uneducated Joan d'Arc preaching the word of Gaia to supplant and overcome the actual rigors of scientific inquiry in order to enforce their will upon everyone else.
Force Before Eloquence

Thank you for affirming the validity of my post.Did you have your MAGA hat on when you wrote that?
Back to the good old days when rivers could catch fire.I think what the stupid climate change idiots don't understand is that if we did return to the days where man didn't have modern conveniences, those self same stupid climate change idiots wouldn't survive in the new world they clamored for.
Back to the good old days when rivers could catch fire.
:nods:
When making fire was the product of flint and steel. When Cholera, Dysentery, and Hepatitis were something that happened to someone else.
When making fire was the product of flint and steel.
How soon will they ban the bow and arrow? Why would you need fire? You're supposed to huddle in the hut in the warmth provided to you from the green masters and only eat grass and bugs. You don't need fire for those things and fire is too dangerous for us plebes anyway.
