Yet you still have a better grasp than the person you quoted.I’m not a lawyer but I thought it was job of the defense to provide any exculpatory evidence at the actual trial. The Grand Jury only determines if there’s sufficient evidence for a trial. I didn’t think district attorneys normally did the defense’s work for them.
