Ignoring that the only reason this didn't happen sooner under stronger charges is because Mueller not only a good man but worse his report was intentionally mischaracterized in initial reports. We know beyond any reasonable that he tried to steal the election. We have the recordings of him asking a governor to find a very specific amount of votes. We know he asked Mike Pence not to certify. These things are not up to debate at all. If the DA tries to prosecute Trump based on the fact that he agreed to a settlement where he pays money to the other party in a lawsuit then that puts every other settlement at risk for the same type of prosecution.

The courts cannot allow that to happen. Moreover, society cannot allow that to happen.

A prosecution by Bragg against Trump on this basis could end up being the shot that starts the second civil war. If that happens we all lose because no one can predict what the outcome will be except bloody. And that's not even considering what will happen in the rest of the world while you idiots are amusing yourselves by playing hide and seek with your belly buttons.
