I think it's much more liberating and exciting for guys to talk about jerking off anonymously. I agree with what everyone is saying. When I was growing up and discovering myself, my body and what sex was, I was taught that masturbation was a sin. It was also thought that you could go blind, get hairy palms etc, etc. I've discovered that none of that was true, of course. What is true is that nobody really knows how to please someone better than themselves. I know what I like, what feels good and how to get there. I can express that here and know I won't be judged, ridiculed or told that what I do is wrong and I will afford that same consideration to others.

I think it is because we all do it, we love it, but we are repressed from talking about it in our day to day real lives because of social norms and etiquette which makes it frowned on. Then we find that here we can really just be ourselves, be open and honest, talking freely and in detail about it, and that level of sensual freedom I guess is arousing in itself, not having to hide or be ashamed of our sexual selves.

Yes, maybe especially the part about not being judged as "perverts". In real life, even those who would judge us, have many of the same fantasies and desires, but they would never admit it. Here we can let it all out.

I couldn't agree more with everything everyone else has said! I find that there is something that really intensifies the arousal of whatever is exciting me when I know it's also exciting somebody else, too.
