One of my grandsons is going through a serious life challenge right now. Not his first. There's mental health issues going on, the inability to get through to him, the inability to get help bc there is none. Either you have private insurance or the state helps. In reality, no state is prepared to help families deal with mental health issues. There is basically zero infrastructure.

For those of us that have dealt with this, no truer words have been spoken.

Both my kids are having issues. I can't do anything to help them but offer support by just being there for them to unload on to. My son is using a cane. He just wants to get through this. He doesn't care about the cane. We can only hope this is a temporary short-term thing.
