If a man is in really good shape and wears a tiny swimsuit, to me it looks like he is 'showing off' and 'trying too hard'.

If a man is not in good shape and wears a tiny swimsuit, to me it looks gross.

I don't know of any women who get excited at the prospect of a strange man in public wearing a tiny swimsuit. If an attractive man is wearing a 'regular' swimsuit, I think he will get the maximum amount of positive female attention.
