Made it to Brisbane… and now wondering why the fuck I packed t-shirts or long pants?!?
Can say I am enjoying the sunshine, blue sky and warmth.

(in case you were wondering on the appropriate response)!

I'm just new to the forum (long-time reader of stories though) and I noticed there seems to be a major assumption or acceptance that most people are American, going by the headings of some of the threads.

Perhaps I'm mistaken, but I also couldn't see an obviously Australian thread. So I thought I'd create one.

I'm a nearly 42yo SWF (haha that makes me think of the movie and I only recent watched it). I'm in Queensland, Australia.

Where are my fellow Aussies?
I found the website to be very US centric which is funny as we're all global citizens whilst online. So thank you for starting this thread.

Thanks from the Wide Bay Region QLD

Octaginarian Aussie Central west NSW still showing an interest. Enjoing the pleasures of the net. Been lurking here a few years.

When I got off the plane in Canberra they cheerily announced “the current temperature is -1c
I lived in Canberra for 20 years and finally back home in Queensland, if I never see a minus temp in my life again, it wont be too soon! The same with snow, I've seen it 5 times and it's been 5 times too many.

What made you take the dip into the forums?
No longer up to my butt in corporate Australia, learning to take life a lot more slowly, learning to do things for me and recognise the things I enjoy. Looking to make friends with similar likes and hobbies.
