I thought that flowery shit looked like a girl's writing. I do not know any guy who writes like that. Not in public, anyway. You Lit folk might be all surprised about how adorable I am in private, though.

This has led to so many existential questions.
Who of us is real? Are any of us real?
I’ve often wondered if I’m an alt of Pmann. Sometimes he says things that I was thinking which just confuses the issue even more for me.
Then I wonder, if he deletes his alt (me) will I not exist anymore?
If you die on Lit, do you die in real life?
Sometimes I see posts from me that I have no memory of ever saying. I don’t even remember seeing the thread before!
What if all of you are creations of my own sick mind? Does that make any of this less real?
If I’m imagining all of this does that mean I didn’t have any fun?
Is Lit different than reading a book or watching a movie, getting invested in the “characters” and then having them go off in a direction I wasn’t expecting? Why does the end of Rocky II always make me tear up as if “we” did it?
What about the real people who were here, I liked and interacted with, had a connection with and then they disappeared never to be heard from again? Are they okay, alive, happy? I have no idea, but the fun we had here still exists in my head, right? So is that real?

For me, Lit is half real and half not real. We are all real people (on some level), but our commitments to each other can’t be 100% really. (Unless you are meeting in person, that changes things.)

But again, that’s just me.

I can’t speak for AHTQ, but I’m guessing based on her post that she was suspicious Bri was a catfish but maybe had no actual proof. And though she has but 64 posts, she very clearly has been around a very long time and is very aware of what’s going on around here.

I am not accusing or trying to ride her down. I think, as we are on the subject, while we are pointing fingers at Bri and Jim for this bit of drama, AHTQ is admittedly an alt for various reasons and truly opened this investigation back on the puppy thread. That's fine. And I can't say she is wrong. The evidence presented in this thread is glaring. However, if an accuser is being credible, an alt is not the way to do it- my opinion. We want to talk about openness and honesty of our fellow litsters. That can't be ignored or taken for granted no matter how reasonable.

Maybe he thought he needed to write flowery and give hugs and love animals to portray what he thinks a woman would do.

Maybe he was hoping to take advantage of vulnerable women by showing empathy.

Yes, but not everyone, including me, can separate their hearts and souls from whatever happens here, and then there’s hurt, discomfort, pain (not that kind), etc along with the laughter and orgasms. It sucks. But it’s just like any other place including the offline world.
