The closest I've came is pointing out the economic flaw because higher wages are built into the costs of goods and services so that it's a push: you get more money, but then you turn around and pay more, a form of artificial inflation. All that stuff is feel-good legislation on the part of people who are not affected because they are making money but do know how to "buy" votes with other people's money.
