I actually use the āSleep Healthā function on my iPhone. Itās a good reminder for me, turns off my notifications, etc.I sometimes struggle to fall asleep but mostly I'm a sleeper. It's a huge need for me. If I don't know how to cope or what to do, I go to sleep.
I've been working on my sleep hygiene habits. No devices after dinner. I shower in the dark.
Mo is right, these phones we're on are making our lives harder if we're not intentionally throwing up boundaries to protect ourselves. Sleep is one of the most important things to me and I fight hard to make sure I get it. (My kids fight back hard to ensure I'm sleep deprived).
During the pandemic, I slept a LOT! Anxiety? Sleep. Depression? Sleep. ADD triggered lack of motivation? Sleep.
Iām starting to turn the corner a bit now, but motivation is still huge for me. Especially if thereās other ways to pleasurably pass the timeā¦
