Creating a federal law that covers all states. What is this solution?
GO.I figured you would.
Reported.
Welcome to Buffalo. In the USA, What would stop someone buying a firearm in a state with lax firearm control laws then crossing the border to a state with stricter laws and committing his mass murder deeds there, knowing it is far less likely that any armed civilisan could interfere? I do not know. Just asking. Maybe not the school shootings as they seem to target their own schools for some percieved slight. But the random shooters that take out strangers.
Sort of like this new abortion abortion. People will just cross a state line to do their intents.
Or maybe he'd have been more like Timothy McVeigh.Ill intent of a person is far more easily achieved when they have easy access to weapons designed to kill rapidly.
Take away the access to weapons designed to kill and they may still cause damage, but to a lesser scale and with more effort. How many people would the guy in Vegas have killed if he had to hit each victim with a bat instead of being in a hotel room far removed?
If you see something, say something. A lawyer should know better.GO FUCK YORSELF YOU.
COWARDLY.
LITTLE.
BIGOT.
This continues to be the wrong framing of the question - of course someone determined to do harm will find ways to do harm. The question is, what can you do to minimize their impact when they attempt to do so? Guns are simply easier to use to cause mass casualties by novices amongst readily available methods. They are also the most difficult to prevent. (Even by good guys with guns)If guns were banned would the killings stopped or would they find other means?
Anyone that believes the problem will be solved 100% is lying to themselves. As I said above, I agree that less accessible firearms will result in less events, or a smaller death toll, but it wont solve the problem. And yes unless a very large number of people are armed, the chance of an armed persons stopping the event are small.
Even firearms don't always stop it.
Hard to believe there was a time when Johnny Savage didn't have his hand out for the monthly government dole. But as we can see above, he grew up hard and he grew up mean.I grew up with guns. In high school, there were lots of pick up trucks in the parking lot belonging to students and teachers. Many of those trucks had gun racks in the rear window with guns in them. We didn't go around shooting each other.
You know the difference now?
Parents who have coddled their children. When the little one starts acting up, he gets soothing words rather than a swift smack on the ass. The younger generation has never had to endure the consequences of their actions. There are rules, but if you break them you are expressing your individuality, not deserving of punishment.
Permissive parents are the difference and the problem.
In the US we have nutter loners. In the rest of the world you have Jihadis. Is there really any difference between them?Folling this discussion, this is my take as an outsider:
American society, almost unique in the western world, spawns nutter loners who have an urge to commit mass murders, whether as school kids or adults. No one addresses the reason why, and nothing has been said about why this occurs almost only in the USA.
To identify a culprit, they blame firearms, arguing this problem would not exist if not for guns. Well whatever is sick in society would still exist, but granted if these nutters didnt have access to firearms the toll would be lower. I doubt anyone denies this. But by far the bulk of firearm owners are not to blame.
Other armed societies, like South Africa do not have this. But we have crime. The presence of plenty of illegal firearms makes this crime violent. Crime was only kept under control by a militarised society, so yes guns serve a purpose., The cause of this is a society that consists of cultures that have been violent for a 1000 years.
I had access to an assault weapon. Only because I was part of the armed response reaction force in my area, The thought of mowing down a school, church, mall etc never crossed my mind. Now that we contracted out our security I no longer have need of this. What has crossed my mind is taking a truck load of liberals and dumping them in a township and see how long until they scream for help lol.
So what are the answers to this:
why do people in the USA need or want assault weapons, since you have police and no threat of attacks on your home?
What in society causes these mass shootings?
If guns were banned would the killings stopped or would they find other means?
What is the point of state by state laws if people can easily transport firearms across borders?
Do the anti firearm people just want to ban assault weapopns or all firearms? What then stops some one using a shot-gun, 9mm pistol, or any magazine fed semi-auto? By the way automatic is not the most efficient or accurate way of shooting. Double tap or drake shooting is, which is done on semi-automatic.

At 10:34 a.m. on June 27, police responded to the 8200 block of Sous Vide Way to an Amazon Delivery station after a report of threats.
An officer spoke with multiple people there who said the suspect, identified as Aceves, was planning a mass shooting at the business.

Aceves was located and contacted by detectives. During the investigation “credible information to support the threat was developed,” and an AR-15 was seized from Aceves’ location.

The only alt that would make sense would be lance. You both don't know shit about the law.You know what the best thing is about being on butterz iggy list? It's just so peaceful knowing she doesn't read my posts - evah.
BTW you fat cow, post all the Alts I've used which have been banned along with the PROOF that those are my Alts.
This works unless the person is a shut in.I truly don't get why people have alts. I've been banned by one social network....you know what I did? I stopped visiting that social network.
And the whole thing about having multiple alts to pretend to be multiple people? Just go outside...find a hobby that is more productive.
