More SCOTUS news.

30 years later Ford decides to come forward? Give me a break!
There is absolutely nothing about how she handled herself that is inconsistent with her accusations. Nothing.
Democrats used Ford like an old latrine mop to smear Kavanagh to advance their agenda. Dems didn't give two shits about Ford, they were content to drag her through the mud. When that didn't work Dems conjured up other witnesses to lie, again to advance their agenda, attempted payback for Garland.
If that were what it was all about, you'd have seen the same at Gorsuch's hearings. After all, that was the seat that was stolen, not this one.
I used to have a great respect for Senator Feinstein but how she conducted herself, especially being a lawyer herself, was despicable, went against all ethical protocols, she lowered herself and the committee to new lows, worst than that shitbag Ted Kennedy's character assassination of Robert Bork.
What character assassination of Robert Bork? Everything Kennedy said about him was a matter of public record.

That is not an example that supports your position here. It would have been a very, very bad thing for the country if Bork had been seated, and you know it.

Except corroborating evidence. I blame the dem side of the judiciary for dragging her through the mud. The dems used her, totally unethical and despicable.

Gorsuch wasn't accused of rape 30 years after the fact. Elections have consequences

Kennedy went after Bork using civil rights as a false pretense. Bork changed his stance in 1973 on the Hotel issue and civil rights in general but not good enough for Ted Kennedy. Bork was no doubt controversial but also a purest as far as honesty, an originalist when it came to the constitution but was disrespected by Kennedy and liberals in general. Bork's judicial philosophy was as complex as the civil rights issue was at the time. I lived that era, the Warren court, segregation, interracial marriage, contraceptives, forced busing In my opinion He was no more controversial than RBG but Kennedy made him out to be a monster. Bork was right about one thing " a decline runs across our entire culture and the rot is spreading". Kennedy started the war on how liberal senators would behave during confirmation hearings and continues on to this day.

That is exactly the problem. Originalism is never anything more than ventriloquism in a cemetery. Let us have no more of it.

That is not at all true in any way that Bork may be presumed to have meant it. In Slouching Towards Gomorrah he named "sodomy" or "buggery" as an element of that.

speaks volumes about what you don’t know about trauma
Speaks volumes of how unethical senate democrats behaved. Trauma in this case is a double edge sword, the Kavanaghs were put through hell.

How can you be so certain. Bork could have become a warrior for civil rights. I'm biased towards Kennedy, he was a liar and a potential murderer but got off because he was connected, he was a Kennedy!! He used the Camelot mystique to railroad Bork. IMHO

How the fuck do you know? If I'm not mistaken the downfall of the Roman empire began with the senate, kind of runs parallel to today.

You are mistaken. The fall of the Roman Empire began with the imperial succession crises of the Third Century. The Senate was by that time more of a social club than a governing body.

Corruption in the government and political instability. I agree to succession problems, they kept killing each other off in a short span of time. It's been 50 years since I studied western civilization. I don't care to spar with you on history.

Not corruption in the civil government, but in the army. Once they figured out they could choose the emperor, and were inclined to choose whoever promised them the most money, civil wars were inevitable.

It beats making shit up as you go. The constitution is a pretty solid foundation not some living document to be changed at the whims of the anti-american left.

No one put a gun to her head and forced her to break her silence.
Gorsuch wasn't accused of rape 30 years after the fact.
Erm...you DO understand you're actually proving me right here, don't you? If you were right about the Dems re: Kavanaugh, they would have done the same thing to Gorsuch, and even Ofjesse for that matter. Didn't happen with either of them.

Elections have consequences
Yes, and those consequences include that a president gets to nominate Supreme Court justices for all four years of his term. Not just the first three.
Kennedy went after Bork using civil rights as a false pretense.
False pretense? Bork said during his hearings that a poll tax was no big deal. Just for starters. And I don't see how you can blame Ted Kennedy for how the other 99 senators at the time voted. (Bork was voted down 58-42, with half a dozen or so Republicans voting against him.)

No one had to put a gun to her head, to order her, like Lois Lerner, she was down for the cause and she "Knew" what had to be done and if a little white lie was all it took to keep Kavanaugh off of the court, then she was going to give a Meryl-Streep level performance, damn the truth, "The Story' was the important thing.

She martyred herself at the alter of unlimited abortion and probably still feels justified,
a heroine in her own mind and in the minds of a lot of men here who care more
about ideology and The Story than they do THE TRUTH.

I've been thinking about that recently. At the protests I see a lot of young men and I can't help but wonder if they just aren't there to get laid and/or to make sure they can continue to fuck without consequence? Reminds me of Redwave and his co-ed cadre'.

It's career enhancement and they'll have the selfies to prove they were willing to break the law.

REDWAVE - Now that's a blast from the past.

I should feel sorry for a blackout beer drinking frat boy sexual assaulter. Got it.
Do you have PROOF of these things? Or is it just more defamation in support of a "false god" ideology?

Sure, senate republicans are pure white snow.

I should feel sorry for a blackout beer drinking frat boy sexual assaulter. Got it.
FBI did an investigation and found nothing, why, because evidence has a shelf life, her testimony was a sham. I wonder if Ford got a book deal. Maybe if she was represented by Avenatti she would have been more convincing. All that aside, the dem senators acted in a despicable manor.

You’re not very good at this, are you.
Neither are you, you're the one trying to justify an accusation 30 years later and just at the time of Kavanagh's confirmation hearing for the higher court. Why not when he was confirmed for the lower court. It was a democrat stunt and a despicable one at that!

If it was a stunt it was one of the greatest stunts in history. We have to believe that the Democrats planned so far ahead in advance that the following is true.
1. They knew Bret drank (easy enough)
2. They knew a woman who went to school close enough to him to have plausibly crossed paths. (Unlikely but possible)
3. Admitted to her assault years in advance to her therapist. (Nearly impossible)
4. Knew Bret was going to be a Supreme Court nominee. Since his only qualification was thinking a sitting president could not be summoned that is border line psychic shit.

It was a stunt that failed. Blasey-Ford wilted, Avanatti blew himself up, Amy K and Kamala blew their performances, and Brett Kavanaugh is a Supreme Court justice. 🇺🇸👍🇺🇸
