ConferencesSchool closure? Spring break?
I am forced to rest 1 week in every 4 so I try to do gentle(ish) but regular exercise the other 3 weeks. It's probably not the best way but it works for me right now, when I actually do it!Rest is important too, you exercise to break down your muscles, then rest them to build them up.
Thanks Fara, I’m already on it, went to PT on MondayHey. I feel this. Last year’s back injury I sustained while hiking put me out of commission and up almost 30 pounds.
Back injuries are no joke.
I hope you have a good ortho.
Lower back?I’m glad. My PT literally saved me. Take it slow.
I can't drink water when its cold. I'd have a quickie at the gym with youHey all, just got back from a quickie at the gym today.
I never used to, but I’ve been struggling with water lately.
I think I’m making it too cold.
Thanks so much for the concern and support @Love_Is_Blonde. I will get BACK at it just as soon as I canHey Friends
I hope everybody is doing well. I went for a jog this morning. I use the word jog on purpose because it was definitely not a run. But baby steps!! *Beach body* season is starting this Saturday for me. It’s going to be chilly but I’ll be at the beach so I don’t care.
Back injuries hurt like a bitch. They really do. They seem to affect everything, any way you move, it hurts. I sure hope you feel better soon, Jason!
Thanks all for checking in and letting us know how you all are doing. I love hearing about each of you and I love this group. You guys are inspiring and I truly appreciate you.
Morning!
Do it!! Leg day is the best!Trying to convince my self todo leg day today
Wow that’s impressive! Glad you’re hereI really like this thread. Thanks @Love_Is_Blonde for starting it.
I’m currently getting into ultramarathons and am training to run a 50 miler. Consistency and gradual progress is paying off.
I like hearing others’ goals and struggles and accomplishments.
Keep hammering!
So true. I love running the trails as opposed to the streets. It’s infinity more mentally engaging and I love the chance to see wildlife if I’m lucky. And no car exhaust or stoplights too.Walking and hiking outdoors are the best for me mentally.
