I agree. That’s why I used the term “feral genius.” I don’t think it’s calculated as much as feeding on. He stumbled on a grand way to feed his unending need for attention and adulation while at the same time appealing to and bringing out, as you say, their basest instincts. Not to mention an adoring revenue stream he’ll drain right up to the 2024 election before he abandons them and runs off with the money because he will be terrified of losing twice. His pathology is both disturbing and fascinating, as well as dangerous for the country, I believe.

I have never listened to Joe Rogan, despite his podcast showing up on the “popular” lists. Why? Because I’m an adult and can choose what I do and don’t listen to.

Spotify is a company. I can also cancel my subscription if I don’t support their actions.

Yes, he posted a lot of ignorant covid stuff and he's often right-wing, but I haven't seen any racism. Or maybe I missed the podcasts in question. I love JR, he has well educated guests and he's a fantastic and enjoyable interviewer

Just saw that his latest interview was with Jordan Peterson.

I can see why many conservative men like Jordan Peterson, he's good at uncovering system flaws, or distortions in the logic of the Left.

But Jordan Peterson as a therapist?
God forbid.
He's only good for young people, if you're over 40 he'll drive you into depression and suicidality... He actually said once that if not for his son, he would have committed suicide.
