Yeah, sure I could email my doctor, but 1, that's not my style and 2, they're dealing with the Plague out there.

Who knows about bopping knees with rubber hammers, and what it means if your reflex has disappeared?

how long ago did it 'disappear' and how do you know that it has?

No idea when it went, but it definitely isn't there anymore...
My spine feels perfectly OK, which is obviously the first thing you'd think about.

No need to apologise! If I was freaked out, as opposed to amused and curious, I'd wait a few months to see if it gets better and then email my GP.

Unfortunately, you are dead below the waist.

Do you have a pub that delivers?

Blame Covid.
Everything is COVID’s fault.

ignore the quacks / google.

This could be something far more serious such as a debilitating neurological disorder which could require a trip to Switzerland.

if a rubber small sensory tapper isnt getting a response, do not be unduly worried at this stage, I have some medical training so can give advice. Consider testing the degree to which you may have lost sensation (whilst not ruling out obvious issues such as involuntary amputation, such as being run over a tram or combine harvester)
by moving to either a larger testing device or maybe a non rubber one? Stanley make some excellent alternatives.

but remember, at t his stage do not panic.

Or I could blame the vaccine

Get myself a little tinfoil cranium insulation going on maybe...

Maybe this thread should be moved to the political board! ;)

Seriously, I hope you are fine. I am guessing you are.

Never visit Dr. Google. He will have you dead.

Interesting! This morning, normal reflexes have returned in my left leg, but there's still nothing at all from the right.

Arse cancer?

Unfortunately, I think I've figured it out and it's tediously dull.
All the medical stuff I found says nerves, spine, etc. but I think I might just have swollen ligaments in my knees from a shit ton of dog walking.

Glad to hear it. Sounds more likely, but never rule anything in/out. Some ibuprofen, ice pack, and stop hitting your knee with a hammer
