“There is no federal solution.”
*chuckle* Implying that there's a 'State' solution?
Rolodex reply #3.7...
Marking grievance porn is rolodex reply #1. It's so I can easily count the number of bullshit whining
After two years of being bullied, shunned, commanded, isolated, shamed, slandered and vilified, I think we have a tiny gripe coming.
Playing the victim....poor Trumpies....always being horribly attacked by the left.....you need at least fifty more threads
I don't think those whose businesses and organizations were destroyed by these pointless ukases were "playing." Nor do I think those censored on FB, Twitter, Youtube for daring to proffer a heterodox opinion were "playing," either. Nor those wrestled to the ground, handcuffed and arrested for failing to pretend that these ridicuous mandates made the slightest difference.
Our despicable leadership class ruined so much of our society in pointless and vain exercise. Yeah, I'm going to point that out. If you don't like it, tough.
How awesome for that perspective ....please whine more about it...I'm incredibly interested
everything he touches turns to shit! The dems. are destroying this country.
At least Biden admitted the errors of his campaign rhetoric. Better late than never, although voters are not likely to change their harsh assessment of the President’s horrific mishandling of Covid anytime soon.
Every public school was shut down by early April 2020. Who was in charge then?I don't fault the feds for not having a solution. I really, honestly don't. I don't think there is one now that the vaccines have proven to be less than a full-on preventative.
What I do fault them on is them expressing their guesses as iron, eternal truth without the slightest hint of humility and then demanding we all blindly follow their dictates to the letter, all to little or no effect, totally ignoring the real and predictable collateral effects these meansures would have on the economy, social cohesion, children's psychology, etc.
These fatuous assholes have caused untold damage to us and our nation, and not a word of regret is said about it. Contempt is the only reasonable emotion we can feel for them.

So what’s your problem with the Federal response now?Same as now, individual states.

Then they’re the ones to blame for “totally ignoring the real and predictable collateral effects these meansures would have” toward child psychology.State and local governments and school boards made those decisions. There is no “federal solution” other than FDA approvals and procurement of medicines and ppe. Never was. The Biden Administration finally figured it out.
While I take great pride in our great country I find myself trying to answer the complex question: what hurt us more, the disease or the political incompetence shrouded in following the science?
