Some TV show (IIRC 'Law and Order') had an episode where an ethically challenged fertility doctor saved money by supplying 100% of the sperm used himself.

You know all of that lab equipment is kind of expensive and it really is not required to place the sperm in a position where the egg can be fertilized.

Anyone remember Earl Scheib?

No "clever ploys" involved. Why assume the worst in people? I don't have links as my stories are strictly for my own interest. I certainly wouldn't remotely consider putting any up on this godforsaken site...
