I've just written a short story based on the idea of a "fertility clinic" which goes well beyond the bounds of its legal licence in pursuit of £££ from its wealthier female clients. It runs a covert operation designed to provide the sperm of any selected male, on demand (and payment of enough £££).

I'll go no further but am putting this up for consideration as a concept and would ask anyone interested to PM me. I'm curious to know whether there might be any angles to this that I have not already taken into account.

It reads like it's a forced fatherhood scenario allowing women to have the pick of the community on the whole, not just donors. (is this some sort of pseudo-empowerment angle?)

Clearly operating outside of the law and likely going to touch on blackmail scenarios sooner or later.

Big question is, why are these women who have the means to have vetted, curated, top shelf specimens bypassing the ease and legality of that to stretch for whatever captain of industry/social high stander/insert Alpha male stereotype here?

They have wealth (no gold digging) and with that a wide spectrum of choice and opportunity.

You can write a bunch of cum nuts if you want but they are only so common/believable en mass and they have the tools necessary to fulfill said need outside of clandestine services risking their social standing and possibly opening up to blackmail.

Why are these women behaving in this way for (apparently) little gain? Gain needs to read as exceptional and worth all the risk.

Valid points and all consolidated in the question highlighted. You will forgive me if I do not expand overly on the basic situation as outlined. All I'll say here is that, in the story I've completed (but which is open to adaptation), I hint at the roles of emotion and obsession in driving (some) women to actions which would be considered reprehensible.

At heart, this is an "I must have that man's child" (and no other's, not even my husband's) scenario. The law apart, the only things which would normally stand in a woman's way would be conscience... and money...

Fair. It's your story after all.

Just be aware of the dual edge that is withholding details/relegating discussions to PM. Sure, no risk someone steals your idea (though, I'm of the opinion no one could write it like you anyway but that's a discussion for another day) but you aren't really getting wide feedback (which mirrors the wide audience you'd be servicing.)

With what you've laid out (looks deliberate and thought out), probabilities are you won't miss a major angle capable of disrupting the narrative. You have non-con fatherhood with his genetic makeup being the prize (not some gold digging scenario)

Trouble is, a singular woman can lose her marbles a bit to go down this road. You've got a business (so volume, many women) which makes each successive marble losing female less believable and needing shoring up.

With unique scenarios such as these, the author really is the angle busting source as they're the rare individual to sit in this particular space to really ruminate on it. You either need to trust yourself and your time spent (reasonable, considering) or open up your cave and let others really explore it, see the art on the walls, and think tank with you.

Your story goals determine what works best for you.

I like the basic premise but assume this is actually not a story involving sex per se but rather abduction, drugging - or both. I have a few thoughts on it. PM sent.
