The day before yesterday I had my third shot to prevent Covid-19.
(Pfizer injection.)

Of all the three shots I’ve had, this is the first time I feel some
side effects.

Less than an hour ago I took two aspirins, and I don’t feel the
burning in my body that much anymore.

I’m dizzy, but thank god there’s nothing wrong with my breathing.

Have you had any side effects similar to these?

Yes I have..

I had the Moderna vaccine last spring and the booster about a month ago, with no effects.

I hope you get over your side effects soon. Best wishes.

I've been Pfizer'd three times now, the booster having been Tuesday. I gotta admit, haven't felt a thing. I was sore at the injection site for an hour, that was it.

Be well.

I've been double jabbed; coming up for my third. Triggered arthritis in my hands and wrists both times - but I always seem to have that with vaccinations. Still, better than dying from Covid. :)

My wife and I had all three Pfizer doses — yeh, the third/booster kicked us for a day or two. No big deal and it went away.

After the second Moderna I was very dragged out for a day, but the Pfizer booster was minimal. It's very individual.

Yeah, what-evah...

Anyway, I had two Modernas and a Pfizer. No side effects but a sore arm.

The day after my second Pfizer dose, I was tired and muscle-sore, as if I'd been over-exercising it. Spent most of the day in bed, next morning I was fine.

Had my booster yesterday, similar after-effects. I was pretty sore this morning, feeling a little better this afternoon, hopefully back to normal tomorrow. Apparently not an uncommon response.

My wife and I both had the initial double jab of AstraZeneca. First job knocked us out for about three days with brief, mildly flu-like symptoms. Second jab, nothing.

Our boosters were Pfizer. I got mine first and the best I can say is I felt 'wierd' for two days. I was dizzy, tired, and couldn't quite mentally focus. Then it went away. I lived in Africa for four years and have had more vaccinations than Carter's got Little Liver Pills. Yellow fever was the worst, the first AZ jab was about the middle of the pack, and the Pfizer booster was just wierd.

When my wife went to get her booster, last Wednesday, I explained my side effects just as I did above and she just laughed at me. Wednesday evening she started telling me, "I feel really wierd, a little dizzy."

Unusual Side-effects

I've had the triple jab (2 Pfizer + Moderna booster). I've chatted with a LOT of people about this, but I'm the only person I know who has had the following side effects:

- 20 year chronic back pain -- GONE
- 10 year chronic foot pain -- GONE
- 10 year sporadic ED -- GONE

I've talked with researchers at NIH about it, and there have been a few other cases reported similarly. However, they appear rare. I had no other symptoms, not even the seemingly ubiquitous sore arm. One pain expert (does clinical research on vets) I talked with said that it's possible that I had chronic pain that was immuno related and whatever the mRNA did to boost my covid immunity helped stop my immune system from attacking myself. One side-effect that didn't last was a noticeable energy boost for about three weeks after the first dose. Didn't get it with any of the others.

Honestly, if they offer a second booster, I'll be first in line. These have been the fountain of youth for me!

Cheers,

Gotta figure out how to bottle that!

Arm was sore both times for about three days. Second dose left me with flu-like aches for around 10-12 hours about 16 hours later. ( Overnight in that lapse )

Not eligible for a booster until the second of January. Didn't feel like fighting for appointments, so I waited until I happened to be in Wal Mart on the day they put out the walk-ins welcome sign.

I like Bramblethorn’s use of the word ‘response.’ Feeling achey, tired or feverish after a vaccine are NOT side effects. Those are signs that the immune system is turned on and is responding to the vaccine. After my partner had the second shingles vaccine they had similar responses and was told by their physician ‘congrats, you’re immune system is doing what we want it to do.’

I've had three shots too, all Pfizer. Fortunately, I did not have any side effects worth mentioning.

If your dizziness persists another day, you may be wise to seek out a doctor and tell them about it. And no matter how great the temptation may be, as long as you are experiencing dizziness DO NOT operate any heavy machinery!

I hope you're feeling better and firing up that backhoe real soon! 😉

Same here, third Pfizer jab few days ago. Same side effect as mentioned here.

I had a sore arm for a day or two, but that's all.
:rose::kiss:

I suppose to be accurate I should note that I got my COVID Moderna booster in one arm and a seasonal flu shot in the other arm at the same time. It was interesting that even though the needles were identical the COVID booster caused more lingering soreness than the flu shot. But I had no other symptoms.

I rarely get a seasonal flu vaccine, but I'm fortunate in that I've never had the flu as an adult, and I'm in my 50s.

But now to reality. I just qualified for the booster, and will get it after the holidays. So far everyone I know that has gotten it has had heavy fatigue the next day, only one person said they had any type of covid symptoms from it.

I wonder why there's so much variation in people's initial response to the shots. My partner had joint aches like the flu and didn't feel like getting out of bed for almost two days. He wasn't real sick, just no energy. As I said, I had nothing. Site soreness. If one of us had contracted asymptomatic disease prior to inoculation I'd be the more likely one, as he still works from home and I travel. I'm younger, but not by that much.

I got my Moderna booster Wednesday.

I had no effects at all from the first shot back in March.

I got the second shot a month later, in April. It kicked my butt. The day I got it, no problem.

Second day, around lunch, I started feeling feverish. Then I crawled into bed under a giant pile of blankets until the fever broke 4 hours later. Got up, watched a movie, then went back to bed and slept until noon.

The booster gave me a mild fever for about a day, but a nice long sleep took care of it.

After spending the entire day in bed I feel better, but I’m still tired.

I expect to be “back on my feet” after a good nights sleep.

I initially got the J&J and two months ago the Pfizer booster. No effect really from the J&J, a day of not feeling quite great from the Pfizer, but no big deal. The question now, considering there's some talk that the J&J should have been two, is whether we J&J people really need yet another one. I'm ready, if we do.

My wife and I have had two shots of SinoPharm. No side effects, no soreness, I could slap the jab site immediately afterwards and there was no soreness.

My son had two jabs of Moderna. He appeared to suffer significant soreness after each jab, I’m not sure whether that was a side effect or an allergic reaction to my use of the word ‘work’.

Just realized I never said that mine was Moderna. Despite the aches, that will be the booster as well. It's consistently outperformed the others by most accounts. I'll just go when I have a day off the next day so I can sit in front of the computer and vegetate through the potential after effects.
