What is bestiality and what is contained furry/anthro/yiff?

Hi.

So I recently wrote a story containing an anthropomorphic horse, i.e. a very tall and very voluptuous human with a horse's head, hooves, tail and fur. She does have a horse-like leg structure, but above her knees she is human all the way to the jaw except for the fur. The difference is that she does not speak english, which will be dealt with in the second chapter. It also was necessary as part of the plot to have her speak another language and it is easy to see why in the story.
That submission was rejected for possibly containing bestiality. It was submitted to nonhuman and I think I remember there being several stories of furries or other anthropomorphic creatures before.

While I do not understand why the story was rejected, would it be enough to change her status from beast to mythical creature if I were to add a horn to her forehead?
I am not a huge fan of unicorns, but if that is what it takes to get my submission accepted I would be willing to do that, although I would like to know what exactly was different and unacceptable enough to make my story fall on the wrong side of the rules.

Would it help if I were to post the name(s) of the people/person that reviewed this or is this already known for each board? Is that considered doxxing? So many questions from the newbie....

Something you can give more human like features like an anthro cat like creature. Though some people managed to get by with things like mermaids and medusa/lamia creatures because they gave them more human like features below the waist as it were. To be honest i think what caused your story to be rejected is describing the lower half of the character as a "horse body" Now to me the first creature that comes to mind is the greek centaur and from the waist down on that creature its pure horse body.

Well i was kind of making an educated guess, basically i think the person who wrote it make their character too horse like. THats why the story got rejected. I said what i've said because based on all the scifi stories i've read on lit that's what he needed to do. Because if you look you'll see some human/animal crossed characters in some stories.

I'm pretty usre that's allowed. Mistakes happen, try to explain in the comment to your submission why you disagree it's bestiality and that it's infact antropomorphic fantasy creature and re-submit.
Laurel herself says that that's what you should do. Basically she just skims through the story briefly, so she may have not caught up on how much antropomorphic your character really is.

I think your character is perfectly fine as is.

Now. Bestiality is sex with animals. Like when you have sex with a cat or a dog or an actual horse - that's bestiality.

Furry is when people dress as animals (in real life). In art it's often about human with cat-like, dog-like or any other furry animal-like features who are covered in fur. Most of the time their faces and body structure is purely human, and they can have animalistic features only (fur, cat ears, a tail or claws).

Your case is probably not furry. And it's definitely not bestiality.
It's a magical creature which is more human than animal.
I say that if body is human (from mid-thighs up to the neck) then limbs and head can be that of animal and it's still a magical creature that you can safely fuck.
On the other hand, a unicorn is a magical creature too, but it has a horse's body. Not THAT I would call bestiality to fuck.

I think it matters that the part you are sticking your dick in should be human, and that most of the body is human-shaped. It can be covered in fur or scales, it can have animal's limbs and head - so as long as it's antropomorphic, you can fuck it.
But that needs the case-to-case approach. For example if you write about a satyr - it has goat's lower body all the way from waist down. But if you give him human-like crotch, be it dick or pussy - you can fuck it. If the crotch is goat's too - then you can't.

I have a feeling they skim through the chapter, and might have missed your half human description (like a satyr but with horse legs instead of goat legs, I guess. Which is like, 70% human.). So did you change anything?

Even better. His character basically has horce legs behind the knees, so basically only hoofs. And a horse head, if I understood it correctly. So basically it's as anthropomorphic as it can get, and there shouldn't be any problem.
It's like minotaur only the horse variant. I'm pretty sure in a fantasy non-human sex you can write about minotaurs pretty easily.

I did change it a little. I just cut out the part that described the legs in detail. I don't know whether that got it approved or whether they just reskimmed it and their eyes happened to fall on a few different words, making it a okay.

I had a story, Penis Fish, rejected on grounds of bestiality, but when I pushed back the Site relented and allowed the story to be published. So, I advise you to try this approach. This seems like the wrong decision, to me.
