Rittenhouse print will walk

Gun nuts in the States have killed far more innocent people than in any other country on earth. So, stick it up your ass.

So people who commit suicide with a gun and gang members who murder people with a gun are "gun nuts."

These people... including the prosecutor, talking this nonsense about FMJ ammunition being so deadly and awful!!! The Prosecutor was yammering on about how it's designed to penetrate police cars and kill the cops inside.

Then... he describes the dead folk and shows pictures of the bullets lodged in the soft tissue. From almost point-blank range.

Idiots annoy me.

It was a ploy on his part. He waited until the closing arguments to push that piece of idiocy when the defense couldn't bring forth expert testimony to rebut the assertion. FMJ are NOT penetrator and were never designed to do so. They are actually the least deadly (relatively speaking) of the various bullets available out there.

B-b-b-but......

THE MOVIE!!!

All those dangerous Marine types.

We still have nightmares about how deadly FMJs are!

Unfortunately, we are dealing with poor afraid folks who think someone.is coming to take their stuff....it's the mark of incoherent insanity which is also as legal(and common) as gun ownership is here.

Folks with professional jobs and good careers don't make these type of arguments....they are confident, stable, productive members of our society who are going to work everyday vs. being holed up inside their houses, stroking barrels as they peer out their windows.

How much ya wanna bet one of these dopes walks a post around his house....guess who? Chuckles

If only she had been more professional, with a good career! This would never have happened..

Yeah, yeah, yeah. FMJ's are specified under the Geneva conventions because they are NOT as deadly. And the military wanted it that way. It takes 4 individuals to take care of a wounded soldier, a dead one doesn't take anyone at all. The math is simple, every wounded soldier removes 4 from combat for some period of time. It's a means of attriting the enemy. (Of course assuming the enemy gives a shit about its wounded.)

We know, from brutal experience, that the ChiComs and Soviets never did...

That's probably changed, their demographics are working against them now. And the Chinese have created an army of 'little emperor's' as a result of their one child policy. Entire family trees wiped out in one battle.

I reckon I'm a gun nut then. I have dozens of guns. Some that have never even been out of the box. How awful I am!

You make an argument for your own stupidity? Sounds like a great waste of money to me.

Knock, knock knock on heavens doors...

You've managed to "knock" yourself out accumulating more than a lion's share of ignorance.

Sounds like fun to me. Why should he have to conform to your idea of what's fun?

Ok, your saying it's fun to buy guns that never leave the box? Right?

I'm assuming these are $500 or more purchses?
This is your kind of fun?

What am I missing that will have me think this is a knee slapping fun time?

The real nice ones are more than that. A pair of Purdey shotguns can run you $100,000 or more. And yes, just as some people collect coins that they never lay so much as a finger on, so do firearm collectors buy guns just to have or display them.

Me? I like to target shoot.

Ok, to each his own. I wouldn't collect coins either...but that is me.

Yea, some folks have wild gun collections. Like fuckin millions of dollars worth of guns that never get touched except to lightly oil and maintain them. After a deployment we did this meet n' greet mandatory fun thing in Gatlinburg (sp?) TN at some rich country singers estate and his kid took us to tour their gun room, it was fucking crazy. They had ALL the guns. Tommy gun, BAR, classic weird French shit from the 1700's, KGB suitcase gun, SS Luger, handmade Russian shotguns that are super expensive, I mean everything.

I have 1 safe queen, that's only ever had 1 shot and a full 7 round mag put through it for a functions test.

My custom WC 1911, custom military commemorative engraving, it's pretty to look at, saving it for when the aliens/zombies/commies invade and it's time to go die a glorious death.

Everything else is a working weapon that gets used.

I've read that about 5% of the population or less accounts for about 50% of the privately-owned firearms in the U.S. And these people aren't hobby-collectors -- they don't have collections, they have arsenals. As in, having ten guns of the same make and model. That is not sane. You can't fire more than one gun at a time anyway, not unless you're an action-movie hero, and even then the limit is two. These are people who seem to think they will someday be in a position to pass out arms to militia-comrades in an uprising.

What is the source for this info?

You can't drive more than one car at a time, so why would anyone have more than one car?

You know why I have lots of guns? Because I fucking want to and that's all you need to know.
