Rittenhouse print will walk

It's nothing to do with Constitution. One gun for home defense and one for hunting is all one reasonably needs. If you own more than two, then either you're a "gun nut" in the sense of being a collector, or there's something deeply wrong with you.

Some people collect stamps, some collect cars, some collect guns. Some people like to fish, some like to race cars, some people like shooting their guns. It has no bearing on your life and what kind of hobbies someone else is into, is none of your business.

They certainly would like to have 2A read and interpreted as actually written. ;)

I'd like all of them interpreted as written. It means more protections for us and more restrictions on the government. We all win.

Gun nuts in the States have killed far more innocent people than in any other country on earth. So, stick it up your ass.

LOL.... you're fucking truly insane and woefully uninformed.

A truly anti-civil rights spaz.

the 2nd Amendment is a right.

The right to bear arms is a right. It doesn't need to be justified. You don't need to have a "need". It's a right. What is left to discuss?

There's a lot to discuss if you read the entire second amendment, but most people ignore the preamble.

Rittenhouse was not out to protect property or himself. The ammo he used was not the normal ammo used in an AR-15 but rather what the military most likely used in Iraq, Iran, and Afghanistan. It does not make a clean entrance wound but rather shreds tissue like a shark, a bear or large dog would.

The prosecutor showed pictures of one guy's upper arm that was hit with Rittenhouse's ammo. The guy will never have normal or anything near normal use of his arm and hand.

After listening to the testimony and the sentencing guidelines today....the prosecution didn't make enough of it's case and the facts don't seem to support a conviction.

I'd be shocked for a verdict other than aquittal at this point. It doesn't change how I feel about it ...he should not have been there and two folks are dead because of his stupid decisions and he will have consequences outside of legal ones for his lifetime. Very sad indeed...a no win for anyone.

What was the guy who pointed a gun at him?

A member of MENSA?

You sound like Frodo on guns.
I don't think you have the slightest idea of what you are talking about.

What is the over-under on more peaceful protesting
and buildings that are not burned, businesses that are not looted,
people who are not attacked despite any and all evidence to the contrary...?

And how any times will it be excused as bieng in no, way, shape or form as egregious as 1/6???

By losing this case and going down with guns blazing,
this DA has fast-tracked himself into the Democrat AG
position just as soon as it opens up...

Stacy Abrams gives thumbs up!

FMJ is standard AR-15 ammo. You can buy other types of .223/5.56 ammo, but it's a lot more expensive.

We are free people. How many guns we have is up to us, not you or anyone else. So shut the fuck up about what we need or don't need.

These people... including the prosecutor, talking this nonsense about FMJ ammunition being so deadly and awful!!! The Prosecutor was yammering on about how it's designed to penetrate police cars and kill the cops inside.

Then... he describes the dead folk and shows pictures of the bullets lodged in the soft tissue. From almost point-blank range.

Idiots annoy me.

Nobody knows less about firearms and the facts about gun control than anti-gun proponents.

Like I said earlier, if he had expanding hunting ammo in that rifle that pervert might have lost his whole arm.

Yeah, if you're going to shoot me with an AR, I'd definitely want FMJ. A soft-point will take chunks of meat off.

Unfortunately, we are dealing with poor afraid folks who think someone.is coming to take their stuff....it's the mark of incoherent insanity which is also as legal(and common) as gun ownership is here.

Folks with professional jobs and good careers don't make these type of arguments....they are confident, stable, productive members of our society who are going to work everyday vs. being holed up inside their houses, stroking barrels as they peer out their windows.

How much ya wanna bet one of these dopes walks a post around his house....guess who? Chuckles

I reckon I'm a gun nut then. I have dozens of guns. Some that have never even been out of the box. How awful I am!

It makes me laugh, here on the lit. With all my guns and ammo, I'm not even considered a "major collector" in my area.

I live on a ridge in a three story house with entrances on each level.

I wonder how our tactical superiors would cover all those doors with one gun...

... you know, one of those black powder muzzle loaders our Founders wrote about.

;) ;)
