i wanna vote both, because both have their qualities and best uses:

fried chicken strips/pieces for that hot, fatty outer crunch with succulent tenderness inside, perfect with fries or onion rings

thinly-sliced smoked turkey for sammiches

brined, tender roast turkey for christmas

chicken chunks with ham for a pie

I like both.

Here's a tip for the holidays: Get a roasted chicken and shred the meat, then mix that into the stuffing before baking. It's an excellent compliment to the turkey

There is ground turkey in the fridge for tonight's dinner. I haven't determined what I will do with it.

.
If I had to choose just one based on its ultimate preparation, I would have to go with chicken.

The best turkey I ever had didn't come close to the best chicken I ever had.

For texture and ability to take on seasonings, I don't think a good clucker can be beat.

🐓 FTW

chicken all the way. i love turkey dark meat but then you're stuck with all of the rest of it.

What do you call a Hen with chicks?

A real Mother Clucker.

i used to not mind that stuff, but i can't stand it anymore.

especially since turkey fat smells terrible and comes out very snotty when you fry it up like a burger.

There is a place for both, but chicken is so versatile and can be seasoned and prepared in more ways than turkey, in my opinion.

I like both. Typically don’t do turkey unless it’s a holiday, so it’s kind of a treat.

The only reason we eat turkey for Christmas is that a turkey is big enough to feed a large family gathering.

Some eat ham for the same reason.

Turkey burger, a shredded apple, bbq sauce, salt, garlic, a bit of quick oats. Cooked on a cast grill pan, and a slice of medium cheddar on the burger for the last few minute.

Pretty darn good.
