The local Walmart has had their Xmas trees out for over a month. So have Lowes. The more society tries to force this down our throats, the less important it becomes. You can not buy happiness.

The farm we used to buy our trees decided the investment in time was not worth it so they shut down. Their 8 foot scotch pine cost $80 five years ago. And they sold a lot.

There’s just no words of comfort that work , try as we might. Been there does this. Losing a loved one always stings worst during the holidays. That blah , yuck feeling of just going through the motions.
