The Isolated Blurt Thread XXXVII: You're Welcome, Fuckers

Hahaha! Love it! And the answer: Not very likely.

Actually, I like mowing the lawn. Good workout and I like being outdoors. This Summer, I even did the neighbors.

I love mowing the lawn too. Just wish I didn't have allergies. I end up having sneezes and itching fits. The I have to pump antihistamines for 24 hours just to simply breath. :(

That is why I pay someone to mow mine.

I like mine better.

oh! it looked as if it were more above your knee :D that'll be the swelling alright, lol.

you got this. just keep in mind how great your other knee feels by comparison and that's how the new one will feel when it's done healing. lots to look forward to! :rose:

I will try. When you're in the middle of it, it is really hard to see that there is an end where I will be healthier.

This shit takes 6 to 8 months out of your life. I got so down with the 1st knee. I was not in a good place.

Just make sure to keep the ice on it like the doc wants. Do they have you in the machine , exercising the new knee? I have to operate two of those when SWMBO had her knees replaced.

No but I think I know what machine you are referring to. They had my mom in one.

Some of them are posted on my thread :D
i need to drop in there more often...

i hate pain, so i can't imagine putting up with it for that long... worst i had (longest lasting, that is) was damage to my coccyx as a young teenager. couldn't do anything for it, apparently, and the actions of standing up and sitting down were so painful i tried to avoid it and just remain still. not easy when you have to change classrooms every hour or less. That lasted maybe 6-8 weeks?

It's natural that your personal previous experience will have you dreading what's to come, but you also have the understanding of what's best to avoid and how best to manage the pain...and that it WILL pass. Fingers and toes all crossed for you that this time round things heal even faster with less pain and sunnier days, pink :rose:

so today, after faffing about not doing very much at all, we got on with the sweet peppers. Changed up the recipe a little, grinding the peppers for the most part though we added those i'd confetti-diced yesterday.

the last confetti jelly was clear, orange, with a myriad of jewelled confetti; this recipe gave us a thicker, marmalade kind of texture and using banana peppers as well as the sweet salad mini peppers added a kind of tang. It ended up looking and tasting a whole lot like seville orange marmalade. s'yummy!

I give up on going out to eat. Since reopening, not one meal has been correct. I have been patient, I give up.

i have been a member of this really fucked up lit family for a long time and yet i will read an old thread that i pisted (hah) in and cant remember whatever drama was going on at the time

but i can turn around and ask sean about it and he will remember every detail about whatever it was

heck i dont even remember him being around back then since he was just a meanie head

so many dramas, so little memory space for me

They say that after 24 hours of fasting, one's body begins to repair damage to the DNA.

Check back in with me next week. I'll either be dead or able to leap over tall buildings in a single bound.

my first lit drama memory was from a group of litsters partying in nyc. one of the early to rise members of the group posted juicy details, including names and proclivities, to the gb before retiring to bed.

there was some drama the next morning.

i met some nyc people but i dont remember exactly who though

cause swamp water was involved and i threw up a lot on the way back

i think the only dramas unrelated to myself that i remember are the redneck spices one and the not now hunny or however you spelled that one

my first drama memory was that blessedbe lunatic who had a habit of faking their own death and being generally shitty to people. good times, yo.

I am doing carpentry. This time I may buy a miter clamp. I built stuff for decades before thinking there is probably something I can buy to hold stuff at right angles.

I bought a Bessey angle clamp to build shelves, which now have a lean. I did not think of buying 4 clamps, 1 for each corner. It looks like crap, but the plywood structure is an upgrade from painted MDF.

..
I should have a Halloween party. Mow around all those sexy, low hanging cedar trees, have a camping party, float some fire pits on the ponds, spooky. :D The holiday comes on Sunday this year, sounds like a big Saturday night party w/a day to recover.
