What Are You Nosey About Today?? šŸ¦

I’m nosey about how far you’ve traveled to meet a Litster. Mine was NY to Minnesota.
Four miles. I might hold the record for the shortest distance traveled. :D

I’m always nosy about what happens when people’s lit lives and ā€˜real’ lives collide.

Today I’m nosey about if your spouse or SO knows you’re on Lit. I’d also be curious to know if you’ve ever been caught engaging in online shenanigans. If so, how’d that turn out?

My husband knows that I am on Lit. He knows of the people here who are important to me. Three of my close non-Lit friends also know that I post and am friends (or more) with people here. Those were all instances of my Lit life and "real" life colliding.

It was not originally my intention for my husband to know that I was on the boards. I thought I was doing a good job of clearing my browser history and such, but then my husband asked about the PM I had sent to an Englishman in response to a personal here. The first PM I had ever sent to anyone.:rolleyes: A major, and overdue, conversation was had and some boundaries were discussed. Ever since then, I have always told him about my friends here, whether it's something that has made me laugh, has made me see an issue from a different point of view, or is just an interesting story or great photo.

I have not been great at telling him, on the couple occasions when it has happened, that my feelings for someone have changed from platonic friendship to something more. But I am not good at hiding my emotions from him or compartmentalizing different parts of my life, so he usually has it figured out before I even tell him. I don't know if that counts as getting caught.
No funnier or more salacious stories about getting caught from me.

No, he doesn't know that I come on Lit. As a matter of fact, the only person that knows I come on here is my BFF, and the only reason she knows is because there was a funny gif I wanted her to see.

Yes she knows I'm on here, I tried to get her to join me but she had absolutely no interest.
Not really caught but more upset saying I spend to much time here then I remind her how long we've been sexless & she's the one who said if I wanted sex, I'd have to go get it somewhere else.
What would you do if your SO told you that ??

No, I was never caught, though there were close calls (pro tip: have a few browser windows open). Though from her vantage point now, she probably knows

Yes a couple of times before the split and divorce ... But being in a sexless marriage before being caught didn't add too much more drama to the relationship.

He knows. We have a semi open relationship. He refers to the guys I’ve played with as my side dicks and will actually ask how they’re doing depending on how close of a friendship it is. He was out of country for most of my experiences so there was no ā€œgetting caughtā€ and we have an agreement if I want time with someone. Ethical non monogamy…lots of communication…and yes sometimes some hurt feelings.

I don’t have an SO to catch me doing anything. My ex was on Lit and would sit in the same room as me while he was messaging people. I never had a clue.

I really hate that. I ask about that whenever I chat with a married guy. I always feel guilty. And lord help them if I find out they’re messaging me from bed and she’s sleeping next to them.

He was an ass and you deserve so much better!

One woman told me a guy used to do just that with her. A line I would never have crossed.

I am nosey about cheating. If your SO cheats on you are you more angry with them or the person they cheat with.

For me it depends whether the other woman knew he wasn’t single. If she was mislead, I won’t be happy or become friends with her, but I wouldn’t blame her. If he cheated, I would be more hurt and devastated than angry. Anger is a feeling I don’t often experience

^^^^ Them. You have no idea what lies they spun to get the other persons sympathies. It's not like the other person is going to come to me and ask me my side of the story before they decide if they are going to cheat with my S/O.

Depends on the situation. I’m always 100% pissed at my husband cause it’s his choice to stray. BUT the one woman who came to my office to confess her sins KNEW he was married, KNEW our struggles, KNEW me so I did take that personal. In the end though it really falls on him for choosing to cheat instead of talking to me.

**and again I know what a hypocrite I am being here and chatting with married men. Trust me I feel like a total asshole.

Nothing wrong with chatting to married men. It is up to them to be honest with you and their partners. You are honest with your husband and the people you chat with. You can’t be responsible for the actions of the people you talk to.

I showed Lit to my wife when we first got married. We read a few of the stories together, but beyond that she didn't have a whole lot of interest. Her loss.

If she ever did want to read my posts and PM's she's more than welcome to. She'd find a staggering dearth of shenanigans. It's mostly just weather chats and kvetching about work and stuff.

She does. It was her actions which actually led me to here even though she's never been here. Long story short, it was a tumultuous time in our marriage and things are much different.

I’m nosy about the pettiest thing you’ve done after a break up.

I took parts of everything....batteries to remotes, controllers to gaming systems, shoe laces or just one shoe, random keys, etc.

I have never done anything like that. I just end it and that is it.

I love your ideas though and may store them away for future use if needed.
